Display project

I was working on my display all day today, actually I have started my final model I had a good critic last session and I think I am in a good direction now. My display scale changed, I am going to have 1/2" =1'-0" instead of full scale, and I think it is better becouse with the full scale the flowers became too big but now it looks nicer . also I will have more flower for the cases, and they are all the same size.
I had a hard time to glue the centre of flowers together, so I used a clear tape, and  it looks good. now I need to start my vase.

During the display project I realized that makeing model helped me alot to develop my design ,and i really enjoy to make model.

Display project

This assignment is about design a display system. The display has to hold the eyeshadow case. I start my exploration by designing a counter top circle model with different size of flowers. After that I decided to design a vase with multiple flower that held eyeshadow case, instead of circle model.

I painted a sheet with water color and cut it into different size and then I want to make the vase with them from dark to light tint.

Finally I decided to make an eyeshadow case with sliding doors for my final model. I had a hard time to decide and to make it.At first I started with a square shape box, which was not appropriate for this design, so the circle idea came up to my mind, which was another problem because making case like that was not easy. Making models help me to solve the problem, and I think I learned alot during the process.
